Permissions

Freethe asks only for the microphone, and uses it only on your device to capture live audio to freeze. It is not recorded or transmitted by us, except in content you choose to save or export. If Freethe isn’t hearing anything, check that microphone access is enabled in your device’s Settings under Freethe — you can grant or revoke it at any time.

Unlocking Freethe

Freethe is free to download and generously playable for free. A single one-time in-app purchase — Unlock Freethe — opens the full instrument (the complete grab pool plus MIDI mapping, Split-into-modes, presets, and audio-file input). There is no subscription and no recurring charge. It’s handled by Apple through in-app purchase and tied to your Apple ID (no separate account).

• One-time purchase: pay once and the unlock is yours forever on that Apple ID.
• Restore purchase: if you reinstall or switch devices, use “Restore Purchase” in the app to recover your unlock.
• Refunds are handled by Apple — request one through Apple’s Report a Problem page.
