Blozzum — Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to your use of Blozzum, an iOS application provided by Muddlegeist Inc. (“Muddlegeist,” “we,” “us”). By downloading or using Blozzum, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. License

Blozzum is licensed, not sold, to you. Your license to use Blozzum is governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”), which applies to apps downloaded from the App Store. These Terms supplement the Standard EULA with details specific to Blozzum, including the subscription terms below. If there is any conflict between these Terms and the Standard EULA regarding the software license itself, the Standard EULA controls.

2. Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

Blozzum offers optional paid features through Apple’s in-app purchase system. There is no separate account or login; all purchases are handled by Apple and tied to your Apple ID. Available options are:

Monthly subscription — an auto-renewable subscription billed every month.
Annual subscription — an auto-renewable subscription billed every year.
Lifetime — a single, one-time purchase that does not renew.

Pricing varies by region. The exact price, billing period, and any promotional or early-access pricing are shown in the app at the time of purchase. Please review the price shown in the app before confirming.

The following terms apply to the auto-renewable subscriptions:

Free trial: Subscriptions include a 3-day free trial. If you purchase a subscription before the free trial ends, any unused portion of the free trial is forfeited.
Payment: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase.
Auto-renewal: Your subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Manage or cancel: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device’s Settings > [your name] / Apple ID > Subscriptions (or via the App Store account screen). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Lifetime purchase: The lifetime option is a one-time, non-renewing purchase. It is not a subscription and will not result in any recurring charge.

Purchases, billing, and renewals are processed by Apple. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with its policies; you can request a refund through Apple’s Report a Problem page.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Blozzum only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms and the Standard EULA. You are responsible for any content you create, capture, or export using the app, and for ensuring you have the rights to any audio or other material you use. You agree not to misuse the app or attempt to interfere with its intended operation.

4. Your Content

Blozzum is a generative visual-art and VJ tool. Visuals you create and videos you export belong to you. Muddlegeist does not claim ownership of your creations and does not receive or store them. You are solely responsible for how you use and share what you create.

5. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Blozzum is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. Muddlegeist does not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent not prohibited by law, Muddlegeist will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the app. Nothing in these Terms limits the rights granted to you under Apple’s Standard EULA or any rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law.

6. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of Blozzum after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where applicable consumer-protection law in your place of residence provides otherwise. The license terms in Apple’s Standard EULA are governed as stated in that agreement.
