This Privacy Policy explains how Splivid, an iPad app provided by Muddlegeist Inc. (“Muddlegeist,” “we,” “us”), handles information. It applies to the Splivid app.
Splivid does not require you to create an account, register, or sign in. We do not create user profiles and do not ask for your name, email address, or other identifying information to use the app.
With your permission, Splivid can use your device’s camera to power its features. Camera input is processed entirely on your device. We do not record, store, or transmit it, except that any images or video you choose to save or export are written to your photo library. You can grant or revoke camera access at any time in your device’s Settings.
With your permission, Splivid can use your device’s microphone. Audio is processed entirely on your device and is not recorded, stored, or transmitted to us or to anyone else, except that audio included in content you choose to save or export is written to your photo library. You can grant or revoke microphone access at any time in your device’s Settings.
With your permission, Splivid uses photo-library access to save content you export, and—if you choose—to let you bring your own photos or videos into the app. Splivid does not upload or transmit your photo library, and it only accesses the items needed for what you ask it to do. You can grant or revoke photo access at any time in your device’s Settings.
Any subscription is processed by Apple through in-app purchase. Apple handles all payment and billing. We do not receive your payment card number or billing details. Apple’s handling of purchase information is described in Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Splivid contains no third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or tracking software. We do not use cookies, advertising identifiers, or any technology to track you across apps or websites.
Essentially none. Splivid does not collect personal data from you through the app. The content you create stays on your device and in any location where you choose to save or share it.
Splivid is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app does not collect personal data from anyone, it does not collect personal data from children.
Because we do not collect or receive your personal data, we do not retain any. Anything you create or export remains under your control on your device or wherever you save it.
You control Splivid’s access to your camera, microphone, and photo library through your device’s Settings, and you can change those permissions at any time. Since we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing on our side to access, correct, or delete.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
